1920's Speakeasy

This project was based on the roaring 20's, when prohibition was at large. Thanks to Prohibition people weren't allowed to have anything to do with alcohol  because of the 18 amendment. The purpose of the 18th amendment was to help many people but it did the exact opposite. The crime rate went up and Speakeasies were started. Speakeasies are located in a secret location where the law couldn't catch them and there they served alcohol. For the project we had to create our own SpeakEasy at HTH in the commons. I decided to be in the hospitality group. We had to research and find out what they served there to eat and drink and then serve it. We couldn't serve alcohol because we were underaged but we found non-alcoholic beverages to replace them. Over all this project was really fun preparing everything and acting out our own little Speakeasy, this was one of my favorite project of the semester.
